Spirit sings everywhere. There are old stories here in Finland of the People sitting on large boulders which were resting upon a small stone or small hole. They used another stone in their hand to tap out messages across the vast lakes. They tapped out music to the Spirits, to help carry part of their soul to the Spirit World and back to help the People.

The idea sprang from a pilgrimage to Preseli Hills, to the supposed roots in a long line of my mothers to Wales. I made several walks there with dear friend Martin. Raven pairs were our companions. Sunlight, mist, greys, greens, blues and browns. Offerings along the way. I remembered the Stone drumming story.

Standing amongst the hills, rocks, cairns, standing stones I saw a vision of communication between this Sacred Mountain and the lands around. Via the tapping of the BlueStone. I envisioned also a giant "BlueStock": musicians on the mountain, tapping out rhythms, accompanied by fiddle, guitar, kantele, drums, voice...sounding out to down below where people were gathered in festivities (don't need drugs, alcohol for this one). The songs, the music filled the valley below... Music is Medicine.

I even imagined an EU grant for this. All proceeds going to preserve the Preselis and the BlueStone. For the BlueStone is used in other sacred sites on the Isles, even StoneHenge. There is even a BlueStone Pipe made by a local which travels from one carrier to another.

Length 35 min. So, when you feel like making a journey, a shamanic journey, put on the headphones... make your intention while the first singing is happening...take your spirit helper/guide/power animal with you...do your work...and return (when the singing comes in at the end). Keep your ears open for the complete ending: Ravens were our companions throughout the walks there.

Please Do not use while driving tractors, haying, hedge cutting, driving any vehicle... or riding a bike motorised or not, or flying hot air balloons...you get the idea, yes?
